It was a hot July night and my AC stopped working. I called Al with Mogollon Mech, and he dropped everything and came by my house after 8pm. He had my AC up and running in no time. I highly recommend him for any new or existing systems. He can handle any project big or small.

We chose Mogollon Mechanical to install our central air unit when we moved to Juniper Ridge Resort. Al did an excellent job at a fantastic price. We had him return twice to add air outlets in our newly enclosed laundry room and then again for a room addition. Al does excellent work at very reasonable prices.
Five years after install, the unit failed. Al came out and diagnosed the problem as a cracked connection where a copper connector met the aluminum coil, he apologized that he could not fix it immediately due to being tied up on a job in Holbrook and suggested another company may be able to fix it. Al did not charge for the service call because he said he didn’t fix anything.
I called Sky Blue who came out and told me the coil could not be repaired and there was a two month wait to receive a new coil. They gave me a ballpark price of $17,000 for a new unit and charged $149 for the service call. I called Al back and within two days he replaced the unit with a new one and charged me only $200 more than the original one he installed five years ago.
Was I happy about buying a new unit? of course not, but we could not wait through the heat of June and July to get the old one repaired. Over all, Al took care of us. He gave us a super price on a new unit that no other company would have done. For most companies, profit is the bottom line. For Al and Mogollon Mechanical, Customer care and satisfaction is the bottom line.

Explained the work to be done throughly before beginning.
Then they installed the unit correctly, uncrossing the flexible ducting that has ran under my trailer restricting both lines for over twenty years.

Solicited bids from multiple HVAC contractors to install a mini-split AC in our bedroom here in Show Low. Al promptly returned my call, gave me a good ballpark estimate, and then came by my house later same day to verify the bid. About 1/3 the price of what some other HVAC (those that chose to call me back) quoted. Note that many contractors couldn’t be bothered to return my call. Came out as promised, installation by one of his guys was about 4 hours total. Professional, friendly, and lived up to his promise. I would use Mogollon again.

Al took my call, listened and was very professional. He gave a time he would be at my location. Even when he had an emergency call come in, Al called me to let me know that he would be delayed. Turned out that he still made it on time and got right to work. Very knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend him. Only one I will be using.

I was able to get a same day appointment on a very hot day in July when our A/C went out. Al was professional and punctual. He fixed the A/C quickly and his prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend him!

My husband and I were so impressed with Al Hightower’s knowledge and expertise with regard to our central A/C unit.
