Well I’m truly impressed. To make a very long story short, we had tons of problems for several years ongoing with our heating systems and after 3 companies came out and could never figure out what was wrong, I happened upon Mogollon. Now, to be sure, at first it was much of the same whereas what was thought to be wrong did not correct the issue but this company stayed with it. After several fixes which did not correct the original problem, they continued to work the problem. They kept their word to me, and did excellent work. The end result, we could never get the old unit working properly but now I have a new system that does work, and they took great care of me on both the cost and the customer service. This is the ONLY heating and air company to use on the mountain!

Edgar responded to my inquiry regarding the existing efficiency of our AC setup and the possibility of adding additional vents to our bedroom which was not cooling effectively. After assessing the existing setup, he went under the house to perform measurements, look at what could be done to make the system more efficient and add more airflow. The pricing was fair, and the guys showed up on time to complete the changes, added two more vents, and cleaned up their mess. We are very happy with the response, pricing, work ethic and solution to our problem. Will be having them do our bi-annual servicing from now on.

I reached out to 5 different companies at the time of our need for an HVAC installation. Mogollon was the first and only company to reach out. They had a service tech, Edgar, out that week scouting and had the quote sent to me that next day. We are a non-profit organization and Mogollon worked hand in hand to match our budget and were very patient with us as we scraped together our funds for the project. Once we accepted our quote they had service vehicles out that same week and installed a 4-ton split system, with all the duct work and vents within 3 days. They installed everything the way we requested it, allowing me to perform easy and accessible maintenance to our new unit. Once installation was finished Edgar gave me a thorough run through of the system making sure everything met my expectations. And they went above and beyond in every area, leaving the place spic and span. We will 100% be partnering with Mogollon moving forward.

When he realized he couldn’t make it up to my house himself, he arranged for Edgar to come out. Edgar arrived promptly, quickly assessed the problem, and explained what was needed. It took a little time to get the replacement unit and other parts, but the work was completed as quickly as possible and with great attention to detail. When it was time for installation, Heston did an outstanding job. He worked efficiently, explained everything clearly, and walked me through operating the new thermostat so I would feel confident using it. Everyone I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We chose Mogollon Mechanical to install our central air unit when we moved to Juniper Ridge Resort. Al did an excellent job at a fantastic price. We had him return twice to add air outlets in our newly enclosed laundry room and then again for a room addition. Al does excellent work at very reasonable prices.
Five years after install, the unit failed. Al came out and diagnosed the problem as a cracked connection where a copper connector met the aluminum coil, he apologized that he could not fix it immediately due to being tied up on a job in Holbrook and suggested another company may be able to fix it. Al did not charge for the service call because he said he didn’t fix anything.
I called Sky Blue who came out and told me the coil could not be repaired and there was a two month wait to receive a new coil. They gave me a ballpark price of $17,000 for a new unit and charged $149 for the service call. I called Al back and within two days he replaced the unit with a new one and charged me only $200 more than the original one he installed five years ago.
Was I happy about buying a new unit? of course not, but we could not wait through the heat of June and July to get the old one repaired. Over all, Al took care of us. He gave us a super price on a new unit that no other company would have done. For most companies, profit is the bottom line. For Al and Mogollon Mechanical, Customer care and satisfaction is the bottom line.

Solicited bids from multiple HVAC contractors to install a mini-split AC in our bedroom here in Show Low. Al promptly returned my call, gave me a good ballpark estimate, and then came by my house later same day to verify the bid. About 1/3 the price of what some other HVAC (those that chose to call me back) quoted. Note that many contractors couldn’t be bothered to return my call. Came out as promised, installation by one of his guys was about 4 hours total. Professional, friendly, and lived up to his promise. I would use Mogollon again.
